All of these devices can be used for e-mail and fast Internet browsing from anywhere without being near a hotspot.  You can also use most of them as a wireless modem for your laptop.  Our favorite phone so far is the Cingular BlackJack.  The Dash and the Q-Phone are also pretty good phones, and work great with our service.
